Job Description
Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Welder for its Civil East sector in Barbados. The role involves preparing and fabricating metal structures and components using various welding techniques, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Aecon is a leading infrastructure development company focused on sustainable construction projects globally and values safety, integrity, accountability, and inclusion.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in custom steel fabrication
- AWS, CWB certification or equivalent
- Strong proficiency in GMAW, MCAW and FCAW welding
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift and Overhead crane operation experience
- Fabrication shop environment experience
