Job Description
Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Welding Program Manager to lead the industry best welding performance and ensure compliance with quality control standards at the Pickering, Ontario location. This role involves developing welding processes, managing welding teams, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Aecon is a leading infrastructure development company focused on building sustainable facilities and is committed to fostering inclusion and diversity.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing, fabrication or related industry experience
- Strong working knowledge of ASME Codes Section I, Section II, Section III Division 1, Section VIII Division 1, Section IX, CWB W47.1 and CSA W59, CSA N285, N286 and B51, CSA Z662, API 6D, AWS D1.1/D1.6, ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3.
- Strong knowledge of engineering materials and metallurgy.
- Knowledge of CANDU systems in general and field experience at CANDU nuclear plants would be an asset.
- Certification as a CWB Welding Engineer or Supervisor or equivalent.
