Job Description
Accufile is seeking a temporary Law Library Cataloger to work onsite at a prestigious university law library in Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience cataloging legal materials and strong attention to detail.
Requirements
- MLS or MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited program (or equivalent experience in cataloging within an academic or law library setting)
- Demonstrated experience using MARC21, RDA, LCSH, and Library of Congress Classification (K schedule preferred)
- Familiarity with integrated library systems (e.g., Ex Libris Alma, Innovative, Koha, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality control
- Ability to work independently and professionally in an academic environment
