Recreation Therapist

The Recreation Therapist will plan, direct, and implement activity therapy programs as a component of the patient's treatment plan. This role involves assessing patient needs, implementing activities, facilitating sessions, and assisting patients with physical and mental well-being. The therapist will also develop and implement treatment plans and provide a positive, empathetic work environment.

Requirements

• Complete activity assessment through patient observation and patient/family interview.
• Plan, organize, direct and implement activities.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
