Job Description
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is seeking a Recreation Therapist I for their Therapeutic Rec and Comm Prog department. The role involves interpreting, organizing, applying, and modifying recreation therapy to patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient care, clinical assessment, goal setting, and discharge planning. The position focuses on providing patient care while maintaining a safe environment and utilizing appropriate communication with sensitive populations.
Requirements
- Minimum B.S. or B.A. in Therapeutic Recreation from an accredited college.
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience as a Recreation Therapist.
- Current CA driver's license.
- Current CA driver's license and American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
