Job Description
3E is seeking an experienced Solar and/or Wind expert to join their South Africa team. This role involves providing consultancy services to clients, from feasibility to operational monitoring. Responsibilities include technical due diligence, owner's engineer services, and project management. The position requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Lead and manage technical due diligence assignments
- Assess and mitigate technical risks
- Oversee project feasibility studies
- Coordinate with legal, insurance, and financial advisors
- Review and negotiate key contracts
- Monitor construction progress
- Manage EPC and O&M tender preparation
- Conduct on-site project acceptance testing and commissioning
- Oversee project operations
- Conduct technical reviews of project permits, designs, and resource assessments
- Lead and document technical inspections during construction and commissioning phases
- Propose strategies for risk mitigation
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficient in technical software tools
