Renewable Energy Engineer

3E is seeking an enthusiastic Solar PV or Wind Renewable Energy Engineer to join their team in Cape Town, South Africa. The role involves working with client projects, conducting technical feasibility studies, performing site inspections, and managing the project lifecycle from inception to completion. The position requires a flexible individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of learning various software tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with technical due diligence on solar/BESS/wind projects.
• Experience with financial review (Lender’s/Owner’s technical advisor).
• Experience with PV EPC, O&M, PPA, and Wind turbine contracts.
• Experience working with Lenders and IPP's.
• Experience with technical solar/wind turbine inspections.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn multiple software tools.
• Strong overall computer skills and ability to learn multiple software tools.
