Job Description
Züm is seeking a Senior Buyer to support the procurement of non-vehicle assets, including parts, tires, fuel, and shop supplies. The Senior Buyer will develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize spend, drive vendor negotiations, and manage relationships with new and existing vendors. This is a hands-on role that balances strategic oversight with operational execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field
- Experience in fleet parts procurement (heavy-duty, diesel, or school bus industry) is highly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Fleet Management Information Systems (FMIS) such as Fleetio
- Negotiation skills
- Communication skills
- Project Management skills
- Leadership skills
- Familiarity with SOX + Internal Controls
