This role will manage the Order to Cash through Procure to Pay processes partnering with external suppliers to ensure document flow is accurate and seamless. The Logistics Specialist will also assist in identifying root causes, data trends, and systematic fixes to prevent future issues.
Requirements
- Works cross-functionally with other areas of the business to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Works collaboratively with Vendor partners to resolve issues and optimize operations
- Subject Matter Expert on EDI/Order Flow, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay processes
- Ensures proper end of month/quarter/year process to be compliant with financial processes
- Identify performance trends and help implement process improvements to improve service to the customer and increase efficiencies to the team
- Process leader for all Reverse Flow Connections and document flow to internal/external stakeholders
- Summarize, analyze, and communicate open order resolution to various stakeholders and leaders in multiple functional areas, i.e. Supplier Management, Category Management, Logistics, Order, and Customer Service
- Have an understanding of DOT regulations, including hazardous materials
- Oversee the Return to Vendor Process including the “aging” of product in warehouse
