Facilities Technician

The Facilities Technician performs manual labor for the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment at Stone Zoo. The role involves working in a team environment and independently, with a focus on meeting maintenance deadlines and complying with essential staff requirements during emergency situations.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
• Ability to work outside in changing weather conditions
• Must be available for 24 hour on call as needed
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
