Staff Motion Planning Software Engineer

Zipline is seeking a Staff Motion Planning Software Engineer to develop autonomous systems for real-world delivery. The role will involve building real-time trajectory generation, collision avoidance, and joint optimization for safety, energy, time, and reliability.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience building software for safety-critical systems
• Strong knowledge of Rust/C++/C, planning & search, trajectory optimization, and multi-agent deconfliction
• Hands-on experience with simulation at scale, SIL/HIL, log replay, and metrics-driven validation
