Head of Flight Systems - Platform 1 (P1)

Zipline is on a mission to transform the way goods move by building an instant delivery and logistics system. As Head of Flight Systems, you will lead the team responsible for designing, building, and scaling complex electromechanical systems. The role requires expertise in mechanical design, electrical/power systems, embedded firmware, systems integration, or reliability engineering, with experience in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years designing, building, and scaling complex electromechanical or aerospace systems
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Expertise in at least two of: mechanical design, electrical/power systems, embedded firmware, systems integration, or reliability engineering
• Strong collaborator across hardware, software, manufacturing, and operations
