Lead Software Engineer (SSE II)

Join Zip's Technology function and help design and deliver scalable, secure, and efficient checkout experiences. Collaborate with Product and Engineering peers to define solutions that balance long-term scalability with short-term business outcomes.

Requirements

• Hands on engineering experience building scalable systems in a commercial environment.
• Solid experience in.NET Core (C#) and modern frontend frameworks like React/Next.js.
• Strong experience developing microservices and cloud-native solutions on AWS (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong experience in API design, integration patterns, and application performance monitoring (APM).
• A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn, and grow.
• An aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
