Job Description
Zicasso is seeking an AI & Data Science Manager to lead a team and drive data-driven solutions for strategic decision-making. The role involves both hands-on technical contributions and people management, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative team culture. This is a fully remote position for experienced data scientists based in Latin America, aiming to improve the company’s global operations and strengthen its innovative culture. Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a related role
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing a team of data professionals
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level data scientists
- Proficiency in Python or R
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI
- Master's degree in a quantitative field
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling and data analysis
- Proficiency with Python, R, SQL and data science tools
