Job Description
This QA Automation Engineer role focuses on automating tests and improving software quality. The role involves understanding project requirements, defining test strategies, and creating automated tests for integrations, patches, and staging. The engineer will coordinate with project teams and collaborate with developers and designers.
Requirements
- Understand project requirements and understand phase-wise requirements
- Involve in requirements gathering, analysis and definition
- Understand test planning strategy
- Regression strategy, non-functional testing
- Functional testing post integrations customizations
- Generate and own User guides for integrations
- Work on testing tasks for phases/integrations
- Automate testing using test tools, scripts
- Responsible for quality and timely deliverables
- Coordinate with project manager, other leads and team members
- Work with product designers and developers
- Work with engineering team, RA team to manage defects/bugs
- Experience with test automation tools (Cucumber, Postman, test Ng, Selenium)
- Experience scripting language (python)
- Strong written and oral English communication skills
- Process oriented, self-starter, self-motivated individual
- Knowledge of NMS/EMS/OSS
