Social-Media-Channel-Manager*in (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Social Media Channel Manager to join our team in Mainz or Berlin on a full-time basis for a two-year period. As a Social Media Channel Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of our social media channels and ensuring the daily editorial and publication plan is in place.

Requirements

• Developing and implementing a content distribution strategy to maximize reach and engagement across all channels
• Managing community engagement, interacting with the target audience, moderating comments, and maintaining direct communication for audience bonding
• Analyzing the performance of all published content in-depth (KPIs such as watch time, interaction, and reach) and creating regular, action-oriented reports
• Leading optimization measures directly from performance data and briefing the editorial and design teams on content adjustments
• Continuously monitoring algorithm changes on platforms and current social media trends to adapt our strategies
• Organizing and maintaining metadata management (SEO, video SEO, hashtag strategies) to increase content discoverability
• Supporting the development of new content formats based on audience insights and distribution trends
• Steering and supervising small performance marketing campaigns to promote specific content when necessary
