Job Description
Zachry Nuclear Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Engineer VI. The role involves performing engineering and design activities related to power plant upgrades and new power plant projects, with significant experience in nuclear power plant systems. The position requires developing specifications, modifying packages, and independently evaluating technical solutions in alignment with nuclear regulations and standards. This role also focuses on managing projects and mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
- BS in applicable degree from ABET accredited engineering program
- 20 years of related experience, with at least 10 years with nuclear commercial power plant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Effective time management skills
- Understanding of company policies and procedures
- Ability to pass security and drug screening
- Experience with climbing ladders and working in confined spaces
