[Immediate] Behavior Intervention Aide

Requirements

• Behavior Intervention Aide
• Work under the supervision of a certificated Education Specialist
• Manage student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and optimal learning environment
• Use appropriate applied behavior teaching, communication, and reinforcement techniques
• Document student progress/activities/outcomes and provide regular feedback
• Follow through on treatment or behavior plans for Yu Ming students
• Assist the teacher in devising special strategies for reinforcing material or skills
• Supervise testing and make up work as assigned by the teacher
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with school personnel, parents, and other service providers
• Participate in various meetings as needed
