Job Description
The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is seeking a part-time Mental Health Program Specialist to support the Mental Health department with the implementation of mental health prevention and intervention programs.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children and families.
- Appropriate education and/or experience, may include an Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or one to three years of related experience.
- Obtain and successfully pass state and federal criminal background check via fingerprinting.
- Utilization of Electronic Health Record System and other data entry systems.
- Reliable and punctual with ability to complete independent tasks while being part of the collaborate team and effort.
- Language Skills - Spanish and English bilingual a plus. Excellent written and verbal/nonverbal abilities in languages.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Exemplary cultural competence.
- Familiar with the culture and mission of the organization
