Job Description
The Early Childhood Teacher Assistant attends to children in the designated area, observes and monitors play activities, and ensures the safety and well-being of children. The position requires demonstrating YMCA leadership competencies and maintaining a positive relationship with staff and parents.
Requirements
- Assist lead teacher in implementing daily classroom activities and lesson planning.
- Maintain a safe and attractive environment for all children in the program.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of snacks and meals.
- Maintain required certifications.
- All other duties as assigned.
