Job Description
Yorkville University is seeking a Career Coach to support a new initiative that empowers students through a comprehensive, developmental Life Design curriculum. The role will involve coaching and career development, Life Design and future-self mindset, curricular and co-curricular integration, employer and alumni engagement, and equity, inclusion, and accessibility. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Education, Organizational Leadership, Career Development, or a related field, and professional certification in coaching or career development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Organizational Leadership, Career Development, or a related field
- Professional certification in coaching or career development, such as ICF, CCCD, or Life Design certification
- Progressive experience in career coaching, student success, leadership development, or similar roles, ideally within higher education
- Strong grounding in Life Design, design thinking, and career development theory
- Labour market trends, employability skills, and future-of-work insights
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity
- Innovative, learner-centred mindset
- Ability to work across online and in-person modalities and travel occasionally
