Job Description
We are looking for a Night Leakage Inspector to join our team at Yorkshire Water. The successful candidate will carry out advanced leakage investigation activities, design and implement complex technical step tests, and work with the Engineering Team to prioritize areas for investigation.
Requirements
- Designing and implementing complex technical step tests
- Zero pressure testing, Zone integrity tests & Pressure logging
- Leak detection and resolution using acoustic sounding equipment
- Use correlation equipment, including the ability to use filters, carry out velocity checks and use hydrophones
- Leak detection utilising fixed and lift and shift acoustic loggers
- Use correlating loggers and be able to successfully interpret the information they provide
- Use Netbase (Latis Lite) to understand DMA day/night usage patterns, potential leaks and reductions due to repairs
- Effectively quantify and validate leakage
- Ability to work unsociable hours (consecutive nights)
- NRSWA, Water Hygiene and Manual Handling training
- Full clean driving licence
