Job Description
This position involves instructing group fitness classes for all ages and abilities, focusing on strength, balance, and mobility. The instructor will build relationships with members and maintain accurate class records while adhering to YMCA policies and procedures. This role requires effective programming and communication skills.
Requirements
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
- Group Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer Certification by a Nationally Accredited Agency
- Current group fitness instructor and/or Personal Trainer Certification by a nationally accredited agency
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience teaching in a group fitness class setting
