Special Education Inclusion Teacher (TIA Eligible) - YES Prep East End Elementary (26-27)

At YES Prep, we seek a Special Education Inclusion Teacher to work with students and families in a 10-month position, with opportunities for professional growth and development. The role involves developing lessons, tracking student growth, and building relationships with students and families. The ideal candidate has a passion for education, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the YES Prep mission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university recognized by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB)
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education, or willing to join ACP to get certified in first year
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology
• Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms
• Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools
• Openness to giving and receiving frequent feedback
• Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
• Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives at once
