Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics (Core Product Experience) Yahoo Mail

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics to lead the analytics strategy driving Yahoo Mail's core user experience. The role will oversee a small team of data scientists focused on Yahoo Mail User Experience and partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to uncover insights, measure product performance, and design experiments.

Requirements

• 8+ years in product analytics, data science, or user insights, with 3+ years leading small, high-performing teams
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL; strong applied statistics background
• Experience with experimentation platforms, event instrumentation, and behavioral data analysis
• Familiarity with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
• Proven experience influencing product direction through analytics
• Exceptional ability to turn complex data into clear, impactful stories
