Job Description
This Assistant Swim Team Coach role involves instructing and correcting stroke techniques for a YMCA competitive swim program. The role also includes attending dual meets, invitational meets, and championship meets, as well as assisting in competitions at all levels. This position requires a positive and encouraging attitude and a strong commitment to maintaining safe and effective swimming conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- Knowledge of competitive swimming
- Current YMCA Lifeguarding or Red Cross Lifeguarding
- YMCA Coaches Safety Training required
- CPR and First Aid required
- Must build rapport and relate well to others
