Staff Data Scientist

XPENG is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join their team and contribute to advancing autonomous driving technology. The role involves leveraging data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to solve complex challenges, supporting strategic decision-making, and analyzing data from a large fleet of vehicles. This position is focused on optimizing algorithms and improving autonomous driving solutions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD is a plus)
• 3-5 + years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role
• Proficiency in Python and C++
• Solid understanding of machine learning techniques (supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, neural networks)
• Hands-on experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (Pandas, Matplotlib)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
