Job Description
The Scientist I, Analytical Development position is responsible for developing and implementing analytical characterization methods for pharmaceutical dosage forms. This position collaborates with product development scientists to support formulation, process, and specification development. Responsibilities include developing chromatographic methods, collaborating with formulation and analytical scientists, and implementing analytical procedures according to compendial monographs and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree with 3+ years of method development experience in an industrial pharmaceutical laboratory
- MS / PhD in analytical chemistry with 1+ years of relevant industrial pharmaceutical experience
- Hands-on experience and expertise with HPLC or UHPLC
- Demonstrated understanding of modern chromatographic theory
- Familiarity with GMP/GLP environments and understanding of FDA and ICH guidelines
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
