Job Description
Xcimer Energy is seeking a Summer 2026 internship to gain hands-on experience in designing and building cutting-edge laser-driven inertial fusion hardware and software. The internship offers opportunities to work with a team of experts across diverse engineering disciplines in the fields of structures, mechanisms, optics, and plasma physics. The role involves participating in real-world challenges and contributing to a future commercial fusion power plant.
Requirements
- Qualified candidate enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in engineering.
- Technical skills outside of the classroom.
- Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fusion energy.
