Mechanical Project & Service Engineer

Wunderlich-Malec Services is seeking a Mechanical Project & Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse engineering skill set, experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and be able to work independently and self-start. The role offers a unique blend of computer-aided design, hands-on fabrication, system integration, testing, and field implementation.

Requirements

• BS Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 5-10 years of experience in or exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, piping/tubing principles and practices, fluid flow and piping pressure drop effects, etc.
• Experience with AutoCAD / Inventor (or similar 3D) design software
• Experience with MIG/TIG welding preferred
• Understanding of auxiliary equipment in an electrical generating or plant environment: turbomachinery, pumps, power transfer linkages (statics/dynamics), etc. preferred, though not required
