Job Description
The Assistant General Counsel will provide timely and effective general corporate and commercial legal advice and services throughout the organization, managing a large volume of matters and balancing legal and business risks. The role requires direct interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Timely and effectively provide practical general corporate and commercial legal advice and services
- Demonstrate capability to deliver concise communication and actionable advice to senior business leaders
- Efficiently manage a large volume and variety of general matters
- Negotiate numerous standard and complex corporate and commercial agreements
- Interface directly with client, vendor and other third party legal, procurement and contracting representatives
- Work with cross functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Support commercial and other legal needs throughout North America
