An emerging technical professional in Surface Water Modelling is required to render end-to-end Hydraulic and Hydrological Modelling and allied engineering services for Surface Water systems. The role involves coordination with design engineers and peer groups across India and Australia.
Requirements
- Apply hydraulic principles for River, Storm and Waste Water infrastructure planning
- Develop hydraulic models, interpret outputs and leverage understanding of urban hydrology for infrastructure planning
- Use Innovyze ICM and/or Tuflow software to build, update or test options/scenarios for river and/or stormwater systems
- Perform hydrological modelling using RORB, XPRAFTS or similar tools
- Interpret and manipulate geospatial datasets using ArcGIS or QGIS and post-process modelling results to develop GIS based mapping outputs
- Translate modelling assessments into clear, concise technical reports and presentations at high levels of professional and technical calibre
- Ensure model accuracy based on available information across Model Build, Demand Analysis & Allocation, Calibration and Masterplanning
- Apply sound engineering judgement and best practices to arrive at technical decisions that drive innovative, fit-for-purpose and value-engineered solutions to meet project and client needs
