The team's mission is to collect learning data necessary for autonomous driving and evaluate the performance of software. They are seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Fleet Engineer to maintain, diagnose, and repair their AV fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe and mission-ready.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician, or equivalent vocational/technical training
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems (CAN, HV systems, sensors)
• Familiarity with electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid drive systems
• Strong computer skills: Experience using diagnostic software, programming languages, and database logs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and operations teams
• A strong safety-first mindset, with knowledge of OSHA or equivalent procedures
• Business level of Japanese
• Business level of English
