Job Description
Join our Emergency Response Roster as a Finance Officer and be part of our response to disasters and humanitarian emergencies. You will be responsible for executing accounting processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining financial integrity in emergency response settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably in humanitarian or emergency contexts
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, cash flow management, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Proficient in financial and procurement software; expertise in WVI Accounts Payables (AP) processes
- Ability to travel to/within domestically and internationally as required
- Effective written and verbal communication in English. Other UN languages such as French, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, preferred
