Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our WHiQ team. As a Senior ML Engineer, you will help shape technical direction, build scalable solutions, and mentor other engineers. You will engage with stakeholders and collaborate with key experts to shape the right technical solutions that deliver real customer value.

Requirements

• Strong experience in production-grade Machine Learning models, Agentic AI and their deployments on the cloud (at least 2+ years)
• Senior-level understanding and proficiency in software engineering concepts (SDLC), from translating requirements to technical assignments, to basic foundations like DNS, Databases (SQL & NoSQL), cloud computing (AWS or others), Linux, Git, etc.
• Expertise in designing and implementing scalable ML/Development leveraging 5-7+ years of experience
• Proficiency in developing and optimising data pipelines for large-scale ingestion, transformation, analytics, and real-time querying
• Experience building backend integrations with AWS services (ECS, Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, Neptune, CloudFront, ALBs, Amazon Redshift)
• Experience in building secure, reliable, and performant services, leveraging AWS, and observability tooling (Splunk)
• Knowledge of Git and collaborative engineering practices to drive quality and consistency
