Job Description
Woodard & Curran is a national engineering, science, and operations firm seeking a Water/Wastewater Utility Technician to join their experienced team. The role involves routine maintenance, monitoring, and testing of water and wastewater systems, assisting with facility operations, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The company is growing and prides itself on a collaborative and supportive environment. This is a full-time position with a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Assist operators with required job duties.
- Record instrument readings and report irregularities.
- Collect samples and perform laboratory analysis.
- Maintain utility tract through general cleaning and wash-down.
- Maintain utility grounds.
- Perform routine tasks with hand tools.
- Maintain personal protective equipment and tools.
- Read water meters and record volume.
- Install water meters as needed.
- Locate valves, manholes, leaks, etc.
- Report irregularities.
- Assist with water line repairs.
- Check sewage pump stations.
- Assist with repair and maintenance of sewage pumps and sewer lines.
