Saw Operator (1st or 2nd Shift)

Moves, stocks, saws, cuts, and stages material within the warehouse, performing daily preventative maintenance inspections and following safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• One to three years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of both preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to critically think and solve problems
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability to operate various tools and equipment to include a computer, side loader, overhead crane, metal cutting saw and various small hand tools
• Ability to pass forklift course and drive equipment
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 70 pounds occasionally
