Job Description
The Quality Engineer develops and implements quality plans from engineering drawings. Responsibilities include process checks, CMM and process reviews, tooling, gaging, and quality issues investigation. The role also involves establishing statistical requirements and coordinating PPAP with relevant departments. The engineer will work with various internal and external stakeholders to improve processes and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2008 standards.
Requirements
- Perform process and CMM checks.
- Evaluate and approve manufacturing processes.
- Develop sampling systems and statistical techniques.
- Establish statistical requirements and perform SPC studies.
- Interpret inspection techniques.
- Understand inspection techniques used for part evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 9001:2008 processes and procedures.
