Job Description
Wire IT is a specialized IT consulting partner with 18 years of experience, looking for a Storage & Backup Specialist to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in systems administration and skills in operating systems, SAN and storage administration, backup administration, and scripting.
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in systems administration
- Proven experience with operating systems: RHEL-based, Ubuntu, Windows Server
- Hands-on experience with SAN and storage administration
- Experience with Commvault backup administration
- Knowledge of backup backend systems (Fujitsu Eternus, Dell Data Domain)
- Essential hardware and systems knowledge (servers, switching)
- Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge
- Bash and Python scripting experience
- Ability to specify and deliver production-ready architectures/designs
- Focused and collaborative person
- Oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
