Job Description
Wing is a company that offers drone delivery services. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Uncrewed Air Traffic Management engineering team. The role is hybrid based in Palo Alto, California. We need an experienced engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain large-scale, distributed software systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- Deep technical understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices in a scalable environment
- Demonstrated experience with a highly regulated industry (e.g., Aviation, Defense, Medical Devices)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar degree (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in C++, or ability to quickly pick up C++ with experience in similar languages like Java, or C
