Quality Engineering Intern, Summer 2026

Wing is looking for a Field Quality Intern to join our Quality team based in Palo Alto, CA. Our team evaluates the quality of our product from design (proto type) to components to CM and Field. In this role you will: Support standardization of Nest Cable Management and Layout including simplification / consolidation of points-of-failure Secondary project may be assigned for Nest standardization (other than cables)/defining Quality requirements for Nest

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, or related field, graduating between December 2026 and August 2027
• Mechanical Drafting (SolidWorks) and Electrical Wiring Diagram creation experience
• Strategic mindset to understand the needs and comprehend requirement which can be converted to actionable and viable plans
• Ability to work independently to investigate issues and communicate findings to cross-functional teams
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills
