Sel Windsor is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair mobile machinery in accordance with each equipment's maintenance program, while prioritizing work health and safety, product quality, sustainable development, the environment, productivity, and labor relations.

Requirements

• Perform the required work on work orders distributed by their supervisor
• Check the operation of heavy equipment used for mining and inspect it to detect defects and failures
• Determine the nature of defects and failures, using computerized control equipment and other, to specify the extent of repairs to be performed
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, installations, or elements, using manual or mechanical tools
• Test the repaired equipment to ensure it operates properly and that the repairs meet the manufacturer's requirements
• Clean and lubricate the equipment and perform other routine maintenance tasks
