Project Superintendent – Traveling

We are seeking a seasoned professional in the Heavy Highway industry to fulfill the responsibilities of Superintendent.

Requirements

• Work with project manager to determine method and sequencing of construction
• Manage day to day activities and prepare daily electronic field logs
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with owner, subcontractors, and vendors
• Communicate and promote safe working environment and company safety standards
• Read plans and have a strong knowledge of various DOT specifications and standards
• Inspect work in progress to ensure quality workmanship
• 5+ years of experience working the heavy civil and bridge construction industry
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Able to produce and communicate a 3 week look ahead schedule
• Strong computer skills
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, leadership and decision-making ability
