Registered Nurse - ER (Full-time Nights)

This full-time Registered Nurse position focuses on providing and coordinating patient-centered care in the emergency department. The RN will coordinate care, participate in patient and family teaching, assess patient needs, and maintain clinical standards. This role requires collaboration with ancillary, nursing, and other patient team members in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Collect current symptoms, detailed patient history and consult and coordinate with healthcare team members
• Organize and plan care of patients in the emergency department
• Accurately obtains & records results of assessment, care delivery, medication and administration, treatments, responses
• Monitors patients using proper equipment as ordered
• Triages patients appropriately
• Provide discharge instructions and follow up care
• Adheres to HIPAA regulations
• Utilizes SBAR when communicating
• Qualifies under appropriate and assigned duties
