Job Description
Whatnot is looking for an experienced Product Manager, Payments to lead the strategy and execution of the core payments platform and experiences that underpin the Whatnot marketplace. The role will own the systems that power how buyers pay, how sellers get paid, and how money moves through the ecosystem, and will work across the full payments stack to deliver capabilities that unlock growth while maintaining strong financial controls and managing risk.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience with significant focus on payments products and platforms
- Proven experience owning high-volume, mission-critical payments systems at marketplace, fintech or platform companies
- Deep understanding of financial data, reconciliation, and reporting
- Strong product leadership and ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Proven track record using data and experimentation to inform product decisions
- Excellent cross-functional communication and high empathy for users and stakeholders
