Job Description
SAP ABAP Consultant responsible for solution delivery, development, support, and continuous improvement of SAP ABAP solutions, with a focus on high-quality deliveries, stable production support, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Analysis of functional specifications and translation into technical solutions
- Development and enhancement of SAP ABAP solutions
- Performance of technical impact assessments for changes and upgrades
- Providing 2nd/3rd line technical support, debugging, root cause analysis, and defect resolution
- Resolving performance issues and optimizing ABAP code
- Producing technical designs, code documentation, and test evidence
- Conducting unit testing, supporting SIT/UAT, and assisting with deployment readiness
- Participating in peer reviews and enforcing development standards
- Managing transports across environments and complying with change control processes
- Engaging with functional consultants, business analysts, and key business users
- Identifying opportunities to modernise or simplify SAP ABAP solutions
