Job Description
The Daily Courier seeks a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to join our team. This role is designed for a motivated sales professional ready to drive growth for our newspaper’s advertising and digital media platforms.
Requirements
- Makes regular, timely outside sales calls on both established and prospective accounts.
- Maintains an updated filing system on active and inactive accounts and uses it daily to ensure contact is made on a regular basis.
- Picks up and processes all ads for the publication(s) according to deadline and, if necessary, design ads.
- Computes cost of advertising and takes payment from the customer.
- Negotiates advertising contracts with customers.
- Participates in weekly sales meetings.
- Keeps abreast of similar competition and advertising trends in the marketplace and communicates them to management.
