Instructor, Prelicensure Clinical - Michigan City, Indiana

WGU is seeking a Prelicensure Clinical Instructor to teach and mentor students in a remote/onsite environment. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with a Master's degree in nursing, two years of nursing experience, and an unencumbered RN license.

Requirements

• Act as a steward for carrying out WGU's mission and strategic vision
• Provide expertise in an assigned content area and maintain current knowledge in their field
• Foster students' learning through innovative teaching practices
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with students and all other members of the WGU community
• Make appropriate student referrals for remediation or other needs
• Collaborate with other professionals within the university to promote a positive, student-obsessed atmosphere
• Conduct both in-person and remote methods of student evaluation
