Job Description
The Inclusion Aide will accompany individuals with disabilities in park district and recreation program activities, reinforcing recreation activities and encouraging peer interaction. This role involves assisting participants with adaptations, facilitating social interaction, and advocating for participants' needs. The position is on-site and variable, requiring teamwork and communication.
Requirements
- Assist with the inclusion participants in the park district or village recreation program.
- Assist part district/village staff in creating adaptations to existing programs.
- Facilitate and encourage social interaction between individuals with disabilities and their peers.
- Communicate all incidents/accidents, problems and concerns.
