Job Description
The RN EMS Manager is responsible for financial management, staff management, and program development in the Emergency Medical System at West River Health Services. This role oversees all aspects of Emergency Preparedness functions and plans, directs, and coordinates the work of subordinate EMS officers.
Requirements
- Active North Dakota License
- PALS, ACLS within 3 months of start
- 2 years experience in EMS or emergency medicine (highly preferred)
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, evaluate, reward, discipline, and when necessary, terminate employees
- Develop job descriptions and job duties for each level of personnel
- Develop work schedules to ensure adequate staff to cover each shift
- Create and monitor budgets for a cost-effective program
- Manage revenue-generating services
- Justify improvements in the department design and layout
